Yes — SM Supermalls now hosts 86 pickleball courts across 29 malls nationwide, making it the largest mall-based pickleball network in the country. The expansion, announced in June 2026, represents a major milestone in the sport's growth in the Philippines.
SM's pickleball program began as a pilot at SM Mall of Asia and SM North EDSA in early 2025, with just four courts per location. The overwhelming response — 95%+ weekend utilization rates within the first month — prompted SM to fast-track the rollout. Today, you can play pickleball at SM malls from Laoag to Davao.
The SM Pickleball Experience
Each SM pickleball facility features dedicated acrylic courts with professional-grade SurfPave surfaces, tournament-standard nets, and proper lighting for evening play. Court dimensions follow USA Pickleball standards (20x44 feet). Rental paddles and balls are available at the SM Active Hub counters.
Rates are kept affordable: P150-P250 per hour for non-members, with discounts for SM Advantage cardholders. Some locations offer early-bird rates as low as P100 per hour for sessions before 9 AM.
Year 2 of the SM Pickleball Super Series
The SM Pickleball Super Series, now in its second year, has become the largest amateur pickleball tournament circuit in the country. Year 1 attracted over 2,000 participants across 12 legs. Year 2, running from March to December 2026, has expanded to 20 legs with a total prize pool of P2.5 million.
Each leg features categories for beginner (2.0-2.5), intermediate (3.0-3.5), and advanced (4.0+) players, plus senior divisions. Registration is open to the public through the SM Active Hub website or onsite at participating malls.
